A dual purpose walking stick/seat, constructed from 4 interlocking aluminium tubes and strong polyester stock cord (this product practically assembles iself in front of you when released from its bag), non-slip rubber foot suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with comfortable plastic seat/handle. A spring-loaded button securely locks the seat/handle in either the walking or siting position. A great aid for a quick sit down

I have now purchased several of these sticks - they are a great aid for those who find walking distances difficult. The folding one is very convenient as it can be packed away into a medium sized handbag and is great for travel. It is relatively easy to balance on the seat as long as you are aware of other people who may not notice the end of the pole! I have only given 4 stars as with each of the sticks we have had to sand down the ridge of plastic moulding on the hand grip as it rubs my palm. I would love to see more colours, maybe a gold or silver version for evenings out?
I have however managed to snap one of the folding sticks - the elastic finally gave way. This was a bit tricky, as I was at an airport on my own and didn't have a back up stick.

About 30 years ago I discovered the flipstick. For me it was a solution. This is my 3rd one in all those years. I had and have them with full pleasure. Espicially while shopping with my wife. She can shop and I sit looking at all the shopping people.
