I am 75 years old.I have had many Flipsticks over the years..... I keep one in both cars , one for walking and one for emergencies. Whilst I can walk , I have injuries from my service in Vietnam.....I have trouble standing in queues for more than 2 minutes otherwise I need to sit on my bum. Same if I am stopped talking to people. Flipstick I cannot do without. I choose the ultimate foldable type as it can fit in a small backpack and adjustable as I am tall so I can decrease the size to fit in its bag if I require. The elastic in these foldable sticks stretch over time (about 4 years for me) but it is so handy when on public transport or in a cafe you can fold it up and put it under a seat without obstructing others. I also get a few replacement ferrules as generally they need replacement every 2 years as I walk every day briskly for exercise. I am wobbly and Flipstick stops me from falling especially when I trip...has saved me countless times as I cannot afford to fall with 6 pins in my spine.
I love to travel...It gives me something to look forward to. I have climbed to the top of Machu Picchu and several Volcanoes, walked amongst ruins all over the World...I couldn't have done it without my Flipsticks.
