Designed specifically for multiple users or to be given as a gift, this stick has a robust, adjustable section which allows the user to vary its height by a further 6cm. A dual-purpose walking stick/seat, constructed from 4 interlocking aluminium tubes and strong polyester stock cord (this product practically assembles itself in front of you when released from its bag), non-slip rubber foot suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with comfortable plastic seat/handle. A spring-loaded button securely locks the seat/handle in either the walking or sitting position. As a seat, it transforms a person into a very stable tripod. Lightweight to carry and yet capable of safely supporting 130kgs (280 lbs). This product comes with a comfortable, stylish, non-bulky, adjustable shoulder bag for ease of carriage. Height (seat up) 82.5cm to 87.6cm . Weight 0.60kg.

Very helpful for a back pain sufferer

For very many years I have used walking poles, sometimes one when on a short local walk but always two on many five or six day walking holidays. At the age of 86 I now find my knees failing and in addition I now have upper back pain after about an hour on my feet, relieved simply by sitting down. The adjustable folding Flipstick has solved this problem for me. I can take the weight off my worst knee more readily than a walking pole AND take a sit down anywhere on my walk regardless of the weather conditions. I had in fact purchased a folding, non adjustable Flipstick for my wife - it was exactly the same height as the standard folding walking stick she had been using. On trying this earlier stick I decided to get one for myself - the adjustable version. I only needed just one hole longer to make it absolutely right for putting my weight on it with my arm in a comfortable position. Very happy indeed with my purchase.
