Designed specifically for multiple users or to be given as a gift, this stick has a robust, adjustable section which allows the user to vary its height by a further 6cm. A dual purpose walking stick/seat, constructed from 4 interlocking aluminium tubes and strong polyester stock cord (this product practically assembles itself in front of you when released from its bag), non-slip rubber foot suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with comfortable plastic seat/handle. A spring-loaded button securely locks the seat/handle in either the walking or sitting position. As a seat, it transforms a person into a very stable tripod. Lightweight to carry and yet capable of safely supporting 130kgs (280 lbs). This product comes with a comfortable, stylish, non-bulky, adjustable shoulder bag for ease of carriage. Height (seat up) 87.6cm to 94cm. Weight 0.60kg.

Good, but not perfect

The Flipstick is well made - the folding process is simple and seems reliable - the stick is solid when unfolded. Certainly good value.
There are a couple of niggles. If the adjustment is set to anything larger than the minimum setting, the folded stick won't fit in the carry bag. Making the adjustment to the length requires considerable pressure on the fixing pin - not easy for older hands - but the upside is that the adjustment seems very solid.
Biggest problem, and a bit fundamental to the design, is that the seat part isn't wide enough to allow me to sit comfortably. A conventional shooting stick folds open to provide a very wide seat. (usually) which feels more stable.
May just be a question of getting used to the Flipstick, but at present I wouldn't want to use it for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

I took my FlipStick for it's first outing recently and it was great. Lightweight and collapsible made it ideal for travel.

Neat support.

I have difficulty standing for any length of time and the flipstick will help a great deal. It is neat and light so easy to carry. So queues will no longer be a problem.
