Designed specifically for multiple users or to be given as a gift, this stick has a robust, adjustable section which allows the user to vary its height by a further 6cm. A dual-purpose walking stick/seat, constructed from 4 interlocking aluminium tubes and strong polyester stock cord (this product practically assembles itself in front of you when released from its bag), non-slip rubber foot suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with comfortable plastic seat/handle. A spring-loaded button securely locks the seat/handle in either the walking or sitting position. As a seat, it transforms a person into a very stable tripod. Lightweight to carry and yet capable of safely supporting 130kgs (280 lbs). This product comes with a comfortable, stylish, non-bulky, adjustable shoulder bag for ease of carriage. Height (seat up) 82.5cm to 87.6cm . Weight 0.60kg.

Good to see a shorter version

I have had several flpsticks and always found them a little to high to walk with. So I was pleased that they've brought out a 'short' version which I keep short for walking and adjust to make it higher to perch on, when everyone else is standing (from a distance you can't tell I'm actually sitting). Like other people I do find the seat is hard and after about 10 mins I have to stop sitting on it. I also find the handle is hard on your hands when you've been walking with it for a while.

Flipstik is the best. This was my third, as I can absentmindedly lose them. But I always buy another right away. When my legs are about to give out, Flipstik is there for me.

Efficient and practical

I've had a non-adjustable version of this before [and lost it...] - but I'd had it for about 10 years and it was as good as new.
My new -short- stick is both folding and adjustable; so far it seems fine. The previous stick was a little too high for me, so being able to easily adjust it to a cm or so lower, is really useful. [The long version can be adjusted to be higher, so more suitable for tall people.]
At 5'3", the short adjustable stick is much more suitable for me.
I bought the dark green one again as it's a muted, smart colour; this time it came in a bright green carry-case, which is certainly eye-catching, and maybe will help me not to mislay it!

To Iceland with the Flip Stick

Previously reviewed but -Took mine folded up in the suitcase and used it on many occasions/trips whilst in Iceland. Worked perfectly! Comfortable to use as a walking stick and comfortable for the short breaks I took during a walk. Highly recommend.

Love my Flipstick

I bought the Flipstick as I have Osteoarthritis in my right hip and struggle sometimes out on a walk with tightness in my right thigh and so need to stop and either sit or lean against something. This is not always possible. So I started looking at shooting sticks, but wanted something more practical, that could fit in a bag/rucksack. The Flipstick is perfect for my needs. The seat is sturdy and gives confidence to rest , then folds away or can be used as another walking stick. Brilliant.
